JEAN 3:16 / JOHN 3:16

CAR DIEUL’ÊTRE SUPRÊME
L’Immuable, l’Omnipotent, l’Omniprésent, l’Omniscient

A TANT AIMÉL’AMOUR SUPRÊME

JOHN 3:16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

FOR GOD—THE SUPREME BEING
The Immutable, the Omnipotent, the Omnipresent, the Omniscient
The only indispensable being and who does not need anyone
The life giver and the source of every good thing
The only one whose Word is Yes and Amen

SO LOVED—THE SUPREME LOVE
Love, the most hackneyed and the most misunderstood word
And at the same time, the sweetest and the most sung word
The indispensable element to life which gives it meaning, purpose, stamina and enchantment
The element without which any activity is void of meaning:
One can live deprived of many things, but one cannot live without love

THE WORLD—THE SUPREME INCLUSIVITY
God’s love is inclusive, it makes no discrimination
God’s love is offered to all, but unfortunately not all receive it
God’s love does not impose itself, it is offered; therefore, it can be accepted or rejected

THAT HE GAVE—THE SUPREME PROOF OF LOVE
One can give without loving, but one cannot love without giving
The greatest gift and the true gift is the giving of oneself

HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON—THE SUPREME GIFT
Jesus Christ, the way, the truth, and the life
The only mediator between God and men
The only name by which we can be saved
The only perfect and worthy sacrifice which is acceptable in the eyes of God

THAT WHOEVER—THE SUPREME OBJECTIVE
The human being, without distinction of skin color, ethnicity, or social class

BELIEVES IN HIM—THE SUPREME CONDITION
The sole condition for salvation, but without compromise
It is not enough to believe, but to believe in Jesus Christ and in nothing else, like for example: oneself; one’s riches; one’s spiritual, moral, intellectual, physical capacities; one’s family; one’s priviledged political or social connections

SHOULD NOT PERISH—THE SUPREME DANGER
Hell is not a tale of the Middle Ages, but a reality
God would not accept such a great sacrifice if the danger was not real and extremely horrible

BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE— THE SUPREME OFFER
Everlasting life does not simply consist in a life without end.
It is first and foremost a quality of exceptional life.
What would be the point of having an eternal life full of suffering and frustrations?
The eternal life is a life of perfection full of satisfaction and bliss in the glorious presence of the true God
