Le Seigneur m'a rendu encore plus riche.

L'ennemi a voulu me frustrer,
C'est lui que le Seigneur a frustré.

Le Seigneur a renversé toutes les œuvres de l'ennemi.
Que le nom de L'Éternel soit béni !

The enemy wanted to humiliate me and discourage me,
The Lord has lifted up my head and honored me.

The enemy wanted to impoverish me,
The Lord has made me even richer.

The enemy wanted to frustrate me,
He's the one the Lord has frustrated.

The Lord has overthrown all the works of the enemy.

LES MEILLEURES CHOSES DE LA VIE

Les meilleures choses qui nous arrivent dans la vie sont chacune une grâce, et à chaque fois c’est une surprise divine, un don céleste inestimable. C’est pourquoi demeurons humbles, ayons constamment les yeux fixés sur Christ, celui par qui et pour qui toutes choses ont été créées, et en qui toutes choses subsistent. (cf. Jacques 1:17 ; Colossiens 1:16-17)

THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE

The best things that happen to us in life are each a grace, and each time it is a divine surprise, a priceless heavenly gift. Therefore, let us remain humble, let us constantly keep our eyes fixed on Christ, through whom and for whom all things were created, and in whom all things hold together. (cf. RISQUER ET ESSAYER vs (SE) DONNER ET SAUVER

De nos jours, c'est devenu une habitude, dans la plupart des pays, d'applaudir le personnel soignant et tous ceux qui risquent leur vie pour essayer de sauver d'autres vies. Ceci est une très bonne chose. Il est important d'avoir de la reconnaissance et de rendre à César ce qui est à César.

Et Dieu, dans tout ça, lui rend-on l'honneur qui lui est dû? N'a-t-il pas fait encore plus fort que risquer et essayer? Il n'a ni risqué ni essayé. Mais Il a DONNÉ et SAUVÉ. Il n’a pas donné n'importe quoi, mais Son Fils unique Jésus-Christ, une vie innocente, sans péché, « afin que quiconque croit en lui ne périsse point, mais qu'il ait la vie éternelle. Dieu, en effet, n'a pas envoyé son Fils dans le monde pour qu'il juge le monde, mais pour que le monde SOIT SAUVÉ par lui. » (Jean 3:16-17) Il n'essaye pas de sauver, mais Il SAUVE quiconque croit en Lui.

Jésus dit : « Le voleur ne vient que pour dérober, égorger et détruire; moi, je suis venu afin que les brebis aient la vie, et qu'elles soient dans l'abondance. Je suis le bon berger. Le bon berger DONNE SA VIE pour ses brebis… Je leur DONNE LA VIE ETERNELLE; et elles ne périront jamais, et personne ne les ravira de ma main. » (Jean 10:10-11, 28)

Et à qui Jésus donne-t-il cette vie abondante et éternelle ? L'apôtre Paul écrit aux Romains : « ⁷ A peine mourrait-on pour un juste; peut-être accepterait-on de mourir pour quelqu’un de bien. ⁸ Mais voici comment Dieu prouve son amour envers nous: alors que nous étions encore des pécheurs, Christ est mort pour nous. » (Romains 5:7-8 SG21)

Alors, à qui allons-nous rendre le plus grand honneur ?

Oui, « L'agneau qui a été immolé est digne de recevoir la puissance, la richesse, la sagesse, la force, l'honneur, la gloire, et la louange. Et toutes les créatures qui sont dans le ciel, sur la terre, sous la terre, sur la mer, et tout ce qui s'y trouve, je les entendis qui disaient: A celui qui est assis sur le trône, et à l'agneau, soient la louange, l'honneur, la gloire, et la force, aux siècles des siècles! » (Apocalypse 5:12-14)

RISK AND TRY vs GIVE AND SAVE

Nowadays, it has become a habit in most countries to applaud health workers and all those who risk their lives to try to save other lives. This is a very good thing. It is important to be grateful and to give back to Caesar what is Caesar's.

And God, in all of this, do we give him back the honor that is due to him? Has he not done more than risk and try? He hasn't risked and he hasn't tried. But He has GIVEN and He has SAVED. He did not give anything, but His only begotten Son Jesus Christ, an innocent life without sin, "that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."(John 3:16-17 NKJV) He does not try to save, but He SAVES everyone who believes in Him.

Jesus said, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd GIVES HIS LIFE for the sheep… And I GIVE THEM ETERNAL LIFE, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” (John 10:10-11, 28 NKJV)

And to whom does Jesus give this abundant and eternal life? The apostle Paul writes to the Romans, “ ⁷ For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. ⁸ But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:7-8 NKJV)

So, to whom shall we give the greatest honor?

Yes, « “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” ¹³ And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” ¹⁴ Then the four living creatures said, “Amen!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped Him who lives forever and ever.” (Revelation 5:12-14 NKJV)
